We're a couple who've spent years exploring the sweet spot where food, travel and hospitality meet. From tucked away Dorset pubs to far-flung city stays, we've seen the best (and     occasionally the baffling) that the world of dining and travel has to offer.

After a lifetime of experiences, we decided it was time to share our thoughts - Not as critics with clipboards, but as real guests, paying real bills, looking for genuine value. 

We stay anonymous because that's how most people experience a venue. We don't want special treatment or rehearsed smiles, just an honest welcome, a comfy chair and something worth recommending.

Our reviews are about good stories. We celebrate places that get the essentials right; genune hospitality, thoughtful details and pride in what they offer. If somewhere misses the mark, we'll say so kindly, but clearly. That is what we'd want to read ourselves.
